Bashlin Spur-Stay Leather Climber Pads with Straps - 145BC/145AC

Spur-Stay Climber Pads Developed by a local lineman over 40 years ago, Bashlin introduced the 105 series “Spur-Stay” climber pads with metal inserts for the lineman looking for comfort and shank control. Some of the original users were mocked for using these pads because comfort was not considered “manly”. (This is when a climber pad was a single piece of leather measuring 3 inches by 3 inches.) The Spur-Stay design allows the climber to adjust the position of the shank, and eliminates “kick-back”. It is available in nylon or leather material with straps, or with hook and loop (Velcro) closures. Leather Climber Pads with Straps: Based on a design popular with foresters, this pad has top quality leathers, deep felt padding, the Spur Stay insert and nylon straps to secure it to the climber shank and the leg. (One pair of straps is included with the pads) Constructed from heavy duty harness leather for durability. Features thick & soft cotton felt padding for added comfort.
