Frigoboat K50F compressor is used with a Keel Cooler condenser (purchased separately) to provide your boat with super efficent refrigeration. Designed for refrigerator boxes 7-20 cu ft or freezer boxes 5-10 cu ft, with good insulation This K50 comes with the standard control module (101N0224) and manual speed board. You can easily upgrade from the manual speed board to the Merlin II automatic speed control board; the Merlin II gives you automatic speed selection from the Danfoss/Secop BD35 compressor. Runs the compressor fast when the set point and actual box temperature are significantly different; runs it slow when all you’re doing is maintaining the box’s set point temperature. As a bonus, the Merlin II comes with a fault indicator light for when the compressor should stop for a fault reason, Red LED will blink 1-5 times to let you know where to look for the problem. This item is also compatible with a Coastal Digital MK3 thermostat and/or an AC/DC control module.
